How to Run a Connected Virtual Juried Exhibition
Connect call intake, jurying, exhibition publishing, websites, campaigns, commerce, labels, and physical programming.

A virtual exhibition is a published program, not a folder of images
Start with the visitor and artist journeys. Define how people discover the call, experience selected work, request accessibility support, buy or inquire, attend related events, and return after the show.
Build a connected record
Collect public artwork details separately from internal application and jury data. After decisions, review titles, artist display names, image order, captions, alt text, descriptions, price, sale status, rights, and publication consent. Never publish juror-only notes or redacted source documents.
Crafted Call can connect calls and exhibitions to managed sites and domains, commerce, events, memberships, and Marketing Hub. Keep plan and permission requirements in the launch checklist.
Design for viewing and access
Use a clear exhibition statement, artist navigation, readable type, descriptive alt text, keyboard-accessible controls, captions or transcripts for media, and contact information for accommodations. Test on mobile and slower connections. Avoid making an immersive layout the only way to reach the work.
Connect physical operations
A virtual show can accompany a physical exhibition. Assign accepted work to Gallery Spaces, create labels and QR destinations, track condition and custody, and connect point-of-sale or online orders to the correct artwork. Multi-room Gallery Spaces V3 is implemented in controlled rollout, so room-planning access can vary by organization.
Labels Hub is implemented in controlled rollout, so organizations should use the printing workflow currently available to them and verify each QR destination before installation.
Promote and transact carefully
Use campaign segments and recipient preview to distinguish artists, members, press, buyers, and the public. Confirm send progress and delivery state after launch. For international sales, configure currencies, shipping, taxes, returns, commissions, and artist settlements with qualified operational and tax advice; a platform's multi-currency display does not decide the organization's legal obligations.
Close the exhibition
Preserve a durable public archive only with the promised rights and dates. Reconcile orders, refunds, settlements, pickup or shipping, and unsold work. Export required records and record what should be reused for the next exhibition without carrying forward outdated availability, prices, or consent.
